Christoph Bunzendahl, artistic adviser & coordinator of the Elias Parish Alvars Festival
Christoph Bunzendahl, cellist, was born in 1977 in Hannover, Germany.
His cello studies began at the age of six with German cellist Gerhard Pohl.
He received his Bachelor of Music from Indiana University, Bloomington in 1999 and moved to Belgium to receive his Masters of Music at the Royal Flemish Conservatory in Antwerp.
His teachers included Helga Winold, Klaus Heitz and Jaap Kruithof.
His orchestral experience includes performances with the Berliner Symphoniker and the National Honors Orchestra of America.
He is currently performing in numerous Belgian orchestras.
He has not only extensively performed in duo-recitals with Florence Sitruk, but is also artistic adviser and founding member of the Elias Parish-Alvars Festival.
